*For the reader: by the time this article is read the presidential candidate most likely will have been elected and this electoral map will be completed and look different. Due to this, this article is capturing a snapshot in the presidential race as of Friday, November 6th, 12pm*
I think this has been a very intense week for all of us. Tuesday was election day and I think we’re all extremely nervous/anxious to get the results, after all this does determine the next four years and our future! To keep you up to date with the direction the election is moving in result-wise here is a little update (projection) that was made by The New York Times..
Description
It seems like Biden has yet to win Nevada and Arizona to win the Election. Biden has just won Wisconsin and Michigan. Trump has yet to win Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. Those states seem to be leading red, however, mail-in ballots are still in the process of being counted. Florida and Texas were surprisingly a close call between Biden and Trump, and both were leading blue to begin with, but eventually changed course. So far, it has been a close call between the two candidates (Biden and Trump). There were also a few other candidates that didn’t have as many votes (third-party) as the two most well-known candidates. Biden has won 253/270 electoral votes whilst Trump has won over 214/270 electoral votes. We never are really sure of what could happen, but let's hope that the results of the presidential election come as soon as possible!
